My name is Alida de Graaf, and I live in the Netherlands, near the breathtaking National Park Lauwersmeer. A few years ago I started my passion: creating realistic drawings of animals. My very first portrait was of my beloved golden retriever, Bente, which you can admire on the home page.

The art of drawing animals has stolen my heart. From pets such as cats, dogs and horses to wild animals and birds, I love bringing them to life on paper. My aim is to depict their unique personalities and characteristics as accurately as possible in my artwork. I hope my passion and love for animals shine through my drawings and can inspire others as much as I am inspired by the beauty of nature around us.
