Commission
To make a nice portrait, I need a good reference photo. This is a digital photo on which I can see the eyes, nose and fur sharply, because I enlarge it before drawing. See photo tips on how to take a sharp photo.
Photo-tips
A good reference photo is incredibly important because that’s what I work with. A good photo should be high-resolution and, ideally, taken at eye level. It shouldn’t be in direct sunlight, but it should be in natural light. The photo must be in focus. I prefer to have several photos so we can choose from them together. Try zooming in on the photo and see if you can clearly make out the eyes, nose, and fur.
Prices
Prices for portraits vary depending on the size. See the “Commissioned Work” section. I require a 50% deposit to cover time and materials. This deposit is non-refundable, unless I am unable to complete the drawing. Once you are satisfied with the drawing (I will email you the final version), you can pay the remaining balance. I will send you the drawing after payment is received.
