Commission
To make a nice portrait, I need a good reference photo. This is a digital photo on which I can see the eyes, nose and fur sharply, because I enlarge it before drawing. See photo tips on how to take a sharp photo.
Photo-tips
A good reference photo is incredibly important because that's what I work with. A good photo has a high resolution and preferably taken at eye level. Not in direct sunlight but in daylight. The photo must be sharp. I prefer to have several photos that we can choose from together. Enlarge the photo and see if you can see the eyes, nose and fur in good detail.
Prices
Prices for a portrait vary this depends on the size. Look under Commissioned. I require a 50% deposit for time and materials. These costs are non-refundable. When you are satisfied with the drawing (I mail the final drawing) the remaining amount can be paid. I send the drawing in a passe-partout.
